About Us

JBS Australia’s Northern Division operates five strategically placed processing facilities as well as five feedlots across Queensland and New South Wales, with access to an extensive network of quality cattle.  Our network provides the ability to meet the specific demands of various market segments with an extensive range of grain-fed and pasture-fed products.

 

Located in the Beef Capital of Australia, the JBS Rockhampton processing facility produces a range of pasture fed and grain fed beef products, from commodity to premium. Our organic beef brand, Acres Organic and Right to Roam, our verified grass-fed beef brand are both packed exclusively at Rockhampton. The plant employs approximately 500 team members with a current processing capacity of 700 head of beef cattle per day, operating 6 days/week.

 

About the Role

We currently have production opportunities for Packers and General Labourers to join our Rockhampton Processing Plant. The facility runs on a rotating roster working 4 x 9.5 hour shifts. The current hourly rate is $26.79 with opportunities to advance. We are looking for highly motivated people with their own transport as there is no public transport available.  

 

As part of this role, you will be required to complete tasks which require repetitive heavy lifting, packaging goods, and you will also have the opportunity to work across different production departments.
