Our verified organic grass-fed beef brands, Acres Organic and Right to Roam, are both packed exclusively at Rockhampton. The plant employs approximately 560 team members with a processing capacity of 700 head of cattle per day, operating 6 days per week.

About the Role

JBS Rockhampton is currently recruiting an experienced First Aid Officer to join our team in a full-time capacity. Reporting to the HR Manager, this position will play an integral role in ensuring the safety of our team members by delivering daily treatment of injuries and/or illnesses as well as monitoring the wellbeing and safety of each of our team members.

Your day to day responsibilities will include:

• Providing immediate first aid treatment to team members
• Assessing the severity of injuries and escalating where required
• Collaborating with key stakeholders (e.g. RTW, HR, Supervisors)
• Being the first point of contact for all injuries and/or illnesses
• Supporting our Return to Work (RTW) and light duties programs

About You

• Previous experience in a similar First Aid or RTW role
• CPR and First Aid Certificate required
• Strong communication and decision-making skills
• Ability to stay calm and assist others to stay calm
• Having an emotional and considerate patient care approach
• Team-focused mindset and willingness to help others
