About the Role
The JBS Northern Ops Shipping & Docs team is currently recruiting a details focused Shipping Officer to join the team in a full-time capacity. Based at our Northern Ops head office in Riverview (Ipswich) and working alongside a team of ten (10) experienced Shipping professionals, this role will provide you with the opportunity to establish yourself in a busy but supportive export shipping environment within a global organisation.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Plan and execute export from production, order fulfilment, booking and loadout for specific market
- Review inventory and production levels to allow timely processing of shipping orders, allocations and instructions
- Maintain export orders accurately in ERP, ensuring all details are correct for timely fulfillment
- Work with external suppliers - Container Shipping Lines, Carriers and Internal teams - Sales, Production, Documentation team and multiple loadout sites
- Ensure compliance with International Trade regulations and Customer requirements
- Provide high-quality support to internal and external customers as required
About You
- Previous experience in an export documentation or shipping logistics role highly regarded
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to maintain high levels of accuracy in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills along with the ability to multi task
- Demonstrated administrative, logistics and data entry skills
- Intermediate MS Office skills
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a tight knit team
- Ability to use initiative
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
