About the Role

The JBS Northern Ops Shipping & Docs team is currently recruiting a details focused Shipping Officer to join the team in a full-time capacity. Based at our Northern Ops head office in Riverview (Ipswich) and working alongside a team of ten (10) experienced Shipping professionals, this role will provide you with the opportunity to establish yourself in a busy but supportive export shipping environment within a global organisation.   

 

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Plan and execute export from production, order fulfilment, booking and loadout for specific market
  • Review inventory and production levels to allow timely processing of shipping orders, allocations and instructions
  • Maintain export orders accurately in ERP, ensuring all details are correct for timely fulfillment
  • Work with external suppliers - Container Shipping Lines, Carriers and Internal teams - Sales, Production, Documentation team and multiple loadout sites 
  • Ensure compliance with International Trade regulations and Customer requirements
  • Provide high-quality support to internal and external customers as required

 

About You

  • Previous experience in an export documentation or shipping logistics role highly regarded
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to maintain high levels of accuracy in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent time management skills along with the ability to multi task
  • Demonstrated administrative, logistics and data entry skills
  • Intermediate MS Office skills
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a tight knit team
  • Ability to use initiative
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
