About the role

JBS Australia is currently recruiting an IT Services Assistant to join the corporate IT team in a permanent part-time capacity working 3 days per week.

Based at Riverview, and reporting directly to the IT Services Management Lead, the key responsibility of this role is to work closely within the IT Help Desk to deliver efficient delivery and fulfilment of procurement across JBS Business Units. 

This opportunity will suit someone currently studying for an IT Qualification to gain hands-on experience.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• Fulfil ICT Procurement requests
• Liaise with Vendors and suppliers to get best price and right product for JBS
• Raise Purchase Orders
• Manage and maintain the storeroom inventory online and perform accuracy checks
• Assist with IT equipment troubleshooting
• Image PCs and other IT equipment

About you:

• Currently studying or enrolled in a qualification in IT
• Aptitude and Capacity to learn on the job
• Interest in IT preferable
• Attention to detail and accurate work.
