About the Role

 

In order to ensure the ongoing efficiency of our business, we are excited to commence the recruitment process for a customer service focused Help Desk Officer to join the JBS Group IT Team in permanent full-time position. Based in the Riverview Office, and reporting directly to the IT Service Management Lead, this role will be responsible for assisting nationally dispersed end-users by troubleshooting their IT related issues and completing service requests throughout JBS Australia including all subsidiaries.

 

Please note: this role will require the successful candidate to partake in an on-call, team rotating roster.

 

Responsibilities for the Help Desk Officer includes (but not limited to):

 

  • Logging issues, fault finding, solving and escalating problems as required
  • Acting as the first point of contact for internal customer support
  • Monitoring and logging support requests ensuring SLA’s are being met
  • Resolving tickets during the first point of contact when possible
  • Communicating to the business when IT services/systems are being affected
  • Escalating issues to appropriate IT team members
  • Undertaking after-hours on call for critical incidents and issues
  • Undertaking in-house and 3rd party system troubleshooting
