About the Role

JBS Carriers have great opportunity for a dedicated Assistant Accountant to join our team in a part time capacity (3 days per week). Based at Riverview, Ipswich, this position will work closely with the Management Accountant to help deliver effective office and business operations, handling duties across finance.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Providing effective administrative services
• Undertaking various bookkeeping duties including accounts receivable, accounts payable, invoicing, statements and reconciliation
• Environment reporting for sustainability
• Maintaining accurate rate cards
• Supporting the Management Accountant 
• Other duties as required

About You

• High attention to detail
• Strong time management skills
• Efficient skills within Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Self-starter with demonstrated ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
• Previous experience in accounting or finance related discipline
