About the Role
This role is part of the Group Accounts Receivable & Credit team based in Riverview and Brisbane CBD. The role will cover most accounts receivables functions with an initial focus on transactional processing and requires a great deal of interaction with staff across the business and customers This role is best suited to a good communicator with is proactive, self-sufficient and highly motivated to broaden their skillset by working for a large FMGC company.
Responsibilities
- Cash Allocations and Account Reconciliations.
- Proactive management of customer and G/L accounts in accordance with company policies / procedures.
- Liaising with internal departments to ensure all invoice queries are resolved and paid.
- Processing of invoices / reversals in SAP.
- Validate and process claims according to policy.
- Co-ordinate and manage relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure A/R related queries are resolved.
- Preparing and maintaining reports as and when required.
- Ad Hoc duties as requested.
About You
- Previous experience in Accounts Receivable or a similar Accounts role is a bonus
- Customer focused attitude
- Degree qualified in finance, accounting, or equivalent discipline desirable, though not required
- Experience in SAP desirable
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills, especially in excel
- Motivated, analytical thinker, keen to contribute and refine current processes
- Details focused
- Ability to work to strict timelines
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Able to work independently and as a team member to achieve individual and shared goals
