Feed Hand - Mungindi Feedlot

About the Role

The JBS Mungindi Feedlot team is looking for a motivated Feed Hand to play an essential role in the daily feeding operations of the feedlot. You will help ensure cattle are fed on time by undertaking vehicle checks, batching and delivering feed rations, processing and receiving hay, and adhering to company policies and procedures. Additional duties may be assigned by the Supervisor or Leading Hand as required.

• Full-time position
• Working on a 10 days on / 4 days off roster
• Entry level rate starting at $29.50 per hour

About You

• Experience in operating trucks, front end loaders and other machinery advantageous
• Ability to work unsupervised as well as within a team environment
• Proven experience working in a similar environment
• Mechanical aptitude
• Ability to prioritise and multi-task
• Basic computer skills
• Good work ethic and a willingness to share information and skills
• Sound knowledge and understanding of safe work practices
• Ability to work in accordance with a 10 days on 4 days off roster
