As a Demand Planner you will play a pivotal role in:

 

  • Daily demand and production scheduling for the VA room
  • Communicating forecast and inventory estimations to the VA management team
  • Completing daily Work order closure and variances reporting
  • Calculate future production resourcing using forecast and predictive modelling
  • Address demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner
  • Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and customer promotional activities
  • Being active team member in the VA Sales & Operations Meeting (S&OP)

 

From optimizing production processes to ensuring quality standards are met, you'll be at the forefront of delivering a product you can genuinely be proud of with the ability to purchase selected choice cuts at discounted wholesale prices!

The ideal candidate for this role is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses a strong drive for operational excellence. You should have:

 

  • Understanding of the product being produced & systems used (PSC) (SASTEK), Communication with internal departments, be readily available for the Value Add room to answer questions or getting involved to ensure production flow, EG: lane changes.
  • Business operational acumen and excellent attention to detail
  • Competently Identifies cause & effect relationships
  • Responds calmly in difficult situations maintaining a strong customer service focus
  • Ability to prioritise and multi-skill
  • Advanced Microsoft technical skills; especially Excel
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Takes other's perspective's into account
  • Must be energetic, passionate and enthusiastic with a demonstrated focus on continuous improvement
  • Sees an opportunity & takes action
