As a Team Leader  you will play a pivotal role in:

• Directly responsible for value added room & associated operations
• Leading, mentoring and training of employees
• Production scheduling and supervision of staff
• Maintain the daily running of FSQA system in the value-added room
• Participate in training programs
• Ensure all equipment is in a satisfactory state of use
• Ensure inventory and stock levels are adequate for production requirements while following stock rotation procedures.
• Ensure production and quality targets are met
• Liaise with AQIS Inspection Staff in value added room
• Attend Management Review Meetings in the absence of the Value Added Room Supervisor.
• Understand and implement retail labelling requirements

The ideal candidate for this role is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses a strong drive for operational excellence. You should have:

• Proven leadership and supervisory capabilities
• Demonstrated commitment to meeting all requirements in relation to food safety, people safety and maintenance and enhancement of brand integrity.
• Sound technical knowledge of meat processing
• Proven capacity to maintain productivity levels
• Ability to maintain an appropriate skill mix in order to maximise productivity.

• Ability to communicate and work seamlessly with internal stakeholders
