We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Cold Storage Tutor/Trainer to join our dynamic team based in our Brooklyn Plant.

The successful applicant for this position is enthusiastic and passionate about educating and communicating with colleagues to teach, up-skill and improve their skills, abilities and efficiency

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Run hands-on training for roles like labourers, forklift drivers, and RF scanning.

  • Manage the full journey for new and moving employees, from their first day (induction) through to their final skill checks.

  • Conduct formal assessments for new and current staff, reporting back to Supervisors and HR on how everyone is progressing.

  • Help existing staff learn new skills so they can move into new roles within the company.

  • Help update Task Descriptions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) so our training always follows the best and safest methods.

  • Handle the basic paperwork and make sure all training matches our company goals and values.

  • Ability to deliver training to a wide range of participants from diverse backgrounds and cultures.

  • A desire to learn, grow, and work with a great team.

  • You have an Australian Forklift licence and experience.
