We currently have an exciting opportunity for Tutor/Trainer for the Beef Boning Room Afternoon Shift to join our dynamic team based in our Brooklyn Plant.

The successful applicant for this position someone who is enthusiastic and passionate about educating and communicating to fellow colleagues to teach, upskill and improve their skills, abilities and efficiency

Responsibilities:

·         Receive new starters into designated room and ensure they are inducted into their new positions

·         Upskilling and training existing employees

·         Ensure that training is aligned with JBS Pillars to achieve all business goals

·         Administration requirements

What you’ll bring to the table

·         Confident to coach new employees on various tasks in production area

·         A sound knowledge and coaching ability to ensure new employees know how to sharpen and maintain a knife

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate with language restrictions to ensure transfer of knowledge to all employees are effective and efficient

·         Skills and experience to make sound judgements of trainee’s ability to adequately complete their task

·         Manage a task rotation program to ensure trainees are competent at all required tasks before signing off

·         The ability to work flexibly and proactively in a team environment with a commitment to continuous improvement

·         Ability to identify potential employees for on-going up skilling and refresher training

·         Ability to be creative and bring innovative ideas to the table which will help reduce job repetition and potential injuries.

·         Must be able to work on the Afternoon Shift
