Are you ready to take the next step in your finance career? We’re offering a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Plant Accountant to join our team at JBS Brooklyn. In this key role, you’ll play a vital part in supporting the financial management of our operations by delivering accurate weekly estimates and monthly results. Your insights will directly contribute to smart, informed decisions that drive our commercial success—making you an essential partner in our ongoing growth.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver timely and accurate weekly financial forecasts and monthly reporting for plant operations
- Provide strategic financial support to plant leadership, enabling cost control and operational efficiency
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives in accounting systems, processes, and reporting
- Partner with cross-functional teams to develop, manage, and review plant budgets and forecasts
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and group policies
- Mentor and support junior finance team members, contributing to a high-performance culture
You will also bring to the table:
- CA or CPA qualified (Preferred but not essential)
- Strong analytical and reporting skills with solid commercial acumen
- Advanced Excel skills essential
- Experience with financial and management reporting systems; Power BI or Tableau preferred
- SAP and EPM system experience desirable
- Background in finance within supply chain, procurement, food manufacturing, or FMCG sectors
- Experience in business transformation and improving systems, processes, and reporting
- Strong business understanding and financial management knowledge
- Ability to identify cause-and-effect relationships and offer practical solutions
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
- High attention to detail
