As a Sanitation Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in:

• Provide direction, guidance & support to the Sanitation team
• Ensure successful pre-op checks are achieved through taking a leading role in the provision of best practice processes, systems and support.
• Review the effectiveness, efficiency and consistency of sanitation processes and make improvements as required.
• Effectively manage changes to processes and procedures in line with the broader company direction.
• Collaborate with functional leaders to ensure the effective application of processes and procedures, improvements are identified and realized and collaborative relationships are developed.
• Ensure Safe Usage of Hazardous Chemical procedures are being followed in line with JBS policy and procedure, task descriptions and the SDS.
• Ensure Isolation and Lock-out procedures are being followed in line with JBS policy and procedure, task descriptions and the SDS.
• Report and actively follow through on hazards and maintenance concerns.
• Ensure sustainability targets are being met through efficient processes and effective water usage management.
• Ensure correct chemical and PPE inventory is maintained through consultation with Purchasing.
• Maintain an awareness of all Company policies & procedures and support the consistent operational implementation.
• Support the consistent administration of issuing task descriptions and monitoring training hours.
• Support the consistent administration of entering lead actions and completing and entering safety observations.
• Provide subject matter expertise & guidance to QA audits.
• The ideal candidate for this role is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses a strong drive for operational excellence.

You should:

• Be available for post-production hours
• Previous experience in Food Manufacturing
• The ability to work professionally and effectively within a team environment.
• Highly developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong attention to detail
