Sales Assistant Domestic & Export

About the Role

In this 12 month contract role, you will play an integral role in supporting the Southern Beef Sales team across order management, production coordination, inventory monitoring and customer support activities. Working closely with Sales, Shipping and Production Planning teams, you will help ensure orders are executed efficiently, customer requirements are met and key account relationships are maintained. What You'll Be Doing

• Provide day-to-day support to the Southern Beef Sales team across designated markets.
• Coordinate order entry, maintenance and confirmations through internal sales systems.
• Allocate orders for production and monitor order progression through to shipment.
• Provide customers with production and shipment updates.
• Assist with inventory management and reporting activities.
• Support the reporting and analysis of sales data and business information.
• Maintain and strengthen customer relationships in partnership with the sales team.
• Liaise with Shipping and Production Control Planning teams to coordinate customer orders and product specifications.
• Contribute to the delivery of high service standards and positive customer outcomes.

What We're Looking For

• Undergraduate qualifications in Business, Marketing or a related discipline desirable.
• Strong computer literacy with intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service focus.
• Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise efficiently.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
