We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Assistant to join our Southern Sales Team. In this integral role, you'll provide essential support across order entry, production monitoring, inventory control, and key account management. This position offers a unique opportunity to build hands-on experience and grow within the company, with structured training designed to prepare you for a future role as a Domestic/Export Sales Person. Regular plant visits are part of the journey, offering a broad understanding of our operations and helping you gain invaluable industry insight.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

·        Provide general support to the team as required

·        Enter new sales and distribute confirmations to customers

·        Coordinate and work with production planners for order delivery

·        Maintain and update orders according to customer requirements

·        Assist with reporting and analysis of sales data and market information

·        Provide key accounts with production updates and shipment information

·        Maintain and grow customer relationships in conjunction with sales team

·        Liaise with shipping team on schedules and details for relevant orders

·        Maintain and analyze inventory data

·        Liaise with sales and customers to develop new specifications and labels

·        Build relationships across a range of disciplines for your own personal development and for the execution of sales team strategies

·        Support the sales team with marketing and brand activations with customers

About you:

·        Tertiary qualifications in Business or Marketing

·        Strong computer literacy in excel, word and outlook (intermediate to advanced Excel)

·        Excellent written and verbal communication

·        Ability to remain calm in difficult situations whilst maintaining a strong customer service focus

·        Exceptional ability to prioritise and multi-skill

·        Excellent attention to detail

·        Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

·        Demonstrated ability to work autonomously as well as within a team environment

·        Takes other's perspective's into consideration

·        Energetic, passionate and enthusiastic

·        Demonstrated focus on system improvement
