An exciting new opportunity for an experienced and motivated Cold Stores Afternoon Shift Supervisor has become available to join our Cold Stores team in Brooklyn.

You will be responsible for supervising and organizing workforce to achieve optimum productivity and efficiency on a day-to-day basis.  Developing team morale and administer individual accountability for tasks undertaken.  Maintain important guidelines on security, safety, and hygiene at all times.

 The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Is pro-active in implementing ideas and strategies to improve performance of employees, procedures, and customer service. Is more focused on the needs of the business than just coordinating the shift.

• Executing all Workplace Health and Safety Standard

• Supervising employees on a shift and area rotation throughout the year

• Ensuring inventory control, dispatching and receiving of frozen and chilled products both for Export and Domestic Markets.

• Knowledge of temperature controlled environments

• Ensure customer specifications are met

• Achieve set targets outlined by the Company

Criteria

The successful candidate will possess the following:

• Previous Cold Stores Supervisory experience desirable

• Understand and comply with Workplace Health and Safety standard

• Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills.

• Reliable transport

• Ability to work as part of the team and individually

• Ability to follow JBS Australia Policies and Procedures

• Strong work ethic

• Ability to communicate and work seamlessly with internal stakeholders
