Join our team as a Southern Production Control Planning Coordinator and embark on an exciting career where innovation meets sustainability.  This is an exciting opportunity to join our team at our Southern Head Office located in Port Melbourne, Australia.  Working with a world class team and renowned beef brands, this role has major influence and impact on maximising revenue and executing sales planning strategies.

 

 

As a Southern Production Control Planning Coordinator and you will play a pivotal role in:

  • Analysis, co-ordination and translation of sales and production plans to maximise revenue
  • Provide forecasting and analysis for the sales team.
  • Co-ordinate production across multiple production sites
  • Liaise with Sales, Marketing, Operations and Livestock in making decisions to meet the Company requirements while maximising revenue through effective production scheduling
  • Assist with customer enquiries and feedback on product quality, product specifications, and volume forecasts
  • Plan & Forecast production
  • Maintain and manage product specifications and overseas country labelling requirements
  • Management reporting including yield and recoveries
  • Manage pricing models and product value databases.
  • Raw materials and consumables planning
  • Schedule orders
  • Inventory reporting

The ideal candidate for this role is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses a strong drive for operational excellence. You should have:

  • Deep understanding of the product being produced & systems used with continuous communication with internal departments, be readily available for site PCP’s to answer questions or getting involved to ensure production plans are met and providing solutions to ensure revenue maximisation is never compromised..
  • Business operational acumen and excellent attention to detail
  • Competently Identifies cause & effect relationships
  • Responds calmly in difficult situations maintaining a strong customer service focus
  • Ability to prioritise and multi-skill
  • Advanced Microsoft technical skills; especially Excel
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Takes other's perspective's into account
  • Must be energetic, passionate and enthusiastic with a demonstrated focus on continuous improvement
