About the Role

We are currently looking for experienced and non-experienced Meat Workers / Labourer’s or people looking to start a career in the meat industry to be based at our Brooklyn Plant located 15 minutes west of the Melbourne CBD. 

As a General Labourer, you will have experience or be eager to train and work in various areas of our meat processing;

• Be comfortable working in production environment, boning room or Harvest floor
• Handling raw meat and animal bi products
• Adaptable to a fast-paced physical role
• Focus on safety and quality
• Willingness to learn and perform labouring duties such as trimming, packing, weighing, labelling, machine operating, manual handling and cleaning

The ideal candidate for this role is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses:

• A strong drive for operational excellence
• Ability to work in a labour intensive and/or manual handling role
• Capable of repetitive heavy lifting
• Punctual and reliable
• Reliable transport (public transport is not available)
• Ability to work in hot or cold environments
• Ability to work as part of the team and individually
• Available for a permanent Full-time role
• Available to work in the PM shift
