Maintenance Fitter Weekend

About the role:

JBS are seeking applications for the position of Maintenance Fitter weekend shift in Brooklyn. We are seeking a skilled and energetic individual who is committed to providing an effective professional service and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Ensuring maximum equipment uptime is achieved by providing effective and efficient mechanical preventative and breakdown maintenance
• Engaging in making, fitting or repairing mechanical machines, instruments or appliances
• The implementation of preventative maintenance.

About you:

• Have a fitter and turner trade qualification and post-trade experience of at least 2 years, ideally in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Available to work a Weekend Shift, Thursday to Sunday 4am to 2.30pm
• Understand work planning and scheduling procedures
• Be available for shift work where required
• Have reliable transport and license
• Have been Q fever vaccinated or willing to have Q fever vaccination.
