Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Operate and monitor large-scale industrial refrigeration, steam boilers, and air compression systems.

  • Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs to ensure all plant utilities run at optimal performance.

  • Troubleshoot system issues and respond quickly to breakdowns to minimize downtime.

  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work and system performance.

  • Uphold and enforce strict safety procedures, including lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) protocols, to ensure a safe working environment.

  • Collaborate with the wider maintenance team and management to achieve operational goals.

 

The ideal candidate for this role is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses a strong drive for operational excellence. You should have:

  • Current Engine Driver’s Certificate of Competency (minimum Standard/Intermediate)

  • At least 2 years of post-certification experience in a fast-paced industrial environment

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and a solid understanding of industrial utility systems.

  • Commitment to safety, sustainability, and operational excellence

  • Passion for innovation and continuous improvement

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
