Responsibilities include (but are not limited to:
- Safe and efficient operation of steam boilers, compressors, and refrigeration systems
- Monitoring and maintaining plant utilities to ensure optimal performance
- Responding to breakdowns and conducting repairs to minimize downtime
- Completing work orders and maintenance records using SAP CMMS
- Participating in safety initiatives and using appropriate safety tools (LOTO, TAKE 5)
- Reporting hazards and coordinating with supervisors for timely resolution
- Supporting continuous improvement efforts in utility system reliability
- Assisting in onboarding and mentoring of new team members
The ideal candidate for this role is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses a strong drive for operational excellence. You should have:
- Current Engine Driver’s Certificate of Competency (minimum Standard/Intermediate)
- At least 2 years of post-certification experience in a fast-paced industrial environment
- Strong understanding of work planning and scheduling procedures
- Commitment to safety, sustainability, and operational excellence
- Passion for innovation and continuous improvement
