Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Ensuring maximum equipment uptime is achieved by providing effective and efficient mechanical preventative and breakdown maintenance
  • Engaging in making, fitting or repairing mechanical machines, instruments or appliances
  • The implementation of preventative maintenance.

The ideal candidate for this role is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses a strong drive for operational excellence. You should have:

  • Fitter and turner trade qualification and post-trade experience of at least 2 years, ideally in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Understand work planning and scheduling procedures.
