About the Role
We are currently seeking Livestock Labourers to join our Brooklyn team. Whether you’re experienced in the meat industry or looking to start a new career, we offer full training and support to help you succeed.

 

As a Livestock Labourer, you’ll be involved in key areas of our processing operations, including:

  • Receiving and unloading livestock from transport vehicles
  • Moving animals safely and calmly through yards and holding pens
  • Monitoring animal behaviour and identifying signs of stress or illness
  • Cleaning and maintaining livestock areas including pens and troughs
  • Ensuring compliance with JBS policies including WHS, QA, Animal Welfare, and Environmental standards

 

About You:

  • Previous experience working with livestock (preferred but not essential)
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and outdoor work
  • Strong commitment to animal welfare and safety standards
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Willingness to learn new skills and take on varied responsibilities
