About the role:

We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Learning Specialist to join our Training & Development team at the JBS Brooklyn Plant.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about learning, capability development and continuous improvement. Reporting to the Learning & Development Manager, you will play a key role in designing, developing and maintaining learning resources, systems and processes that support employee development, compliance and operational excellence across the site.

You will work closely with operational leaders, subject matter experts and key stakeholders to create engaging learning solutions, maintain training compliance and drive continuous improvement in our learning framework.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Learning Plans, competency assessments, work instructions and training materials across operational and support functions.
• Partner with Subject Matter Experts and stakeholders to design effective, task-based learning solutions.
• Create engaging learning content including e-learning modules, visual aids, assessments and training resources.
• Manage document control processes, ensuring learning documentation remains current, compliant and audit-ready.
• Maintain training records and learning content within the Learning Management System (LMS) and SharePoint.
• Monitor training compliance and provide regular reporting to leaders and key stakeholders.
• Support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of the site's Task Specific Training Framework.
• Review and improve learning processes, systems and resources to enhance the employee learning experience.
• Assist with learning system administration, data management and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide support to the wider Training & Development team on site learning projects and workforce capability programs.

About you:

• Experience in Learning & Development, Training Coordination, Instructional Design or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and training development methodologies.
• Experience developing training materials, assessments and learning documentation.
• Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS), SharePoint and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail and document management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach to work.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable).
• Experience within manufacturing, FMCG or operational environments will be highly regarded.
