About the Role

We are currently seeking a Finance Business Partner to join our team in a permanent full-time role. The position will be based at our JBS Port Melbourne Head Office, and you will report directly to the Group Financial Controller. As the Finance Business Partner, your primary responsibility will be to drive the coordination and timely delivery of weekly, monthly, and quarterly consolidated reports. You will work closely with the Finance team to ensure efficient data collation and delivery. Additionally, you will take the lead in implementing improvement initiatives aimed at streamlining the month-end and quarterly reporting processes.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting sites with on-the-job L&D of employees
  • Scheduling training courses including e-learning courses
  • Assisting with the development and maintenance of learning resources and materials
  • Coordinating the I Leader training database
  • Assisting departments to develop Work Instructions
  • Ensuring the training needs analysis is regularly reviewed and updated in consultation with key stakeholders
  • Managing effective relationships with managers and workplace trainers to develop, maintain and implement L&D initiatives and programs at their site
  • Overseeing the design, delivery and coordination of all training and induction programs
  • Managing employer incentives and incoming funding, and identifying further funding opportunities
  • Conducting periodic internal reviews/audits to ensure compliance with any required VET regulations and guidelines
  • Overseeing the Graduate Program ensuring that each Graduate completes an 18-month program made up of varying rotations across the business, and that mentoring and other support mechanisms for Graduates are successful
  • Liaising with training providers, Australian apprenticeship centres and RTO’s
  • Ensuring annual L&D objectives are regularly reviewed and met

About You

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management, Education or a related discipline
  • Certificate IV Training & Assessment
  • Working knowledge of WH&S, QA and training and assessment processes
  • Demonstrated ability to translate strategic vision into Tactical and Operational plans that are fully implemented
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, be able to manage several projects and tasks simultaneously, and work well under pressure
  • Ability to interface with all levels of management
  • Approachable and enthusiastic; flexible and adaptable
  • Able to work on own initiative and as a team player
  • Good organisational skills with cultural awareness and sensitivity
  • Good judgment and problem-solving ability & capable of understanding the impact of decision making on the business
