At JBS, safety and wellbeing are more than compliance—they’re a shared responsibility and a core value. We’re looking for an Injury Management Coordinator to join our team at the Brooklyn Plant. This is your opportunity to play a critical role in supporting injured team members through recovery and return-to-work programs, ensuring timely interventions and compliance in a fast-paced, high-risk environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate injury management and rehabilitation processes for injured team members.
- Set up and maintain accurate Solv injury files and ensure data integrity.
- Complete incident notifications and manage early intervention processes.
- Gather information to support workers compensation claim lodgements.
- Liaise with site leaders, team members, and treating practitioners to implement suitable duties.
- Monitor recovery progress and address psychosocial barriers to return-to-work.
- Engage with treatment providers and review capacity changes promptly.
- Attend claim review meetings and ensure staged progression in duties/hours.
- Coordinate workers compensation wage payment and reconciliation processes.
- Meet or exceed KPI targets for workers compensation policy and premium management.
What you will bring to the table:
- Experience in workers compensation claims management (Victorian jurisdiction preferred).
- Relevant qualifications in Business, Risk Management, or related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of workers compensation laws, medical and legal terminology.
- High attention to detail and ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
- Advanced computer literacy (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Calm and professional approach in challenging situations with a strong customer service focus.
- Energetic, passionate, and enthusiastic with a focus on continuous improvement.
