Electrical Supervisor

We now have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and skilled Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to bring leadership, technical expertise, and a high‑performance mindset to our team. Reporting into the site Electrical Engineer, this role supports reliability, efficiency, and improvement of electrical systems while partnering with safety, quality, production, and engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading, mentoring, and supervising electrical trades and apprentices
- Overseeing preventive, predictive, and reactive electrical maintenance activities
- Diagnosing electrical faults, including PLCs, drives, motors, and instrumentation
- Supporting commissioning, installation, and modification of electrical equipment
- PLC programming with the ability to write basic logic programs, specifically RSlogix500, 5000 or equivalent, with formal Electrical Engineer support and accredited training
- Ensuring electrical compliance with OH&S, LOTO, and plant policies
- Collaborating with production, quality, safety, and engineering to support plant goals
- Maintaining accurate CMMS records (SAP)
- Supporting root cause analysis and reliability improvements
What you will bring to the table:
- Electrical trade qualification (dual‑trade advantageous)
- Industrial electrical maintenance experience
- Strong leadership and supervisory experience
- Knowledge of PLCs, drives, and automation systems
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency with CMMS and MS Office applications
- Strong organisational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
- Commitment to safety and working collaboratively
