About the Role

The JBS Pork Australia – Baxter’s team is currently recruiting a Truck Driver to join our team at Laverton, on a fulltime capacity, Monday to Friday. Reporting to the Load Out Supervisor, this role will be responsible for assisting in coordinating and delivering pork products through Baxter’s distribution centre located in Laverton.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Ensure timely delivery of pork products to customers.
• Ensure correct products are delivered and are in good order.
• Return hooks and gambrels from customers.
• Ensure truck is clean and hygiene standards are adhered to.
• Notify variances in loads at time of delivery and reviewed at completion of shift.
• Perform other duties as directed.

About You 

• Must have a current HR truck licence.
• Sound knowledge of Melbourne’s road network.
• Strong communication skills, initiative and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated understanding of safe manual handling techniques and hygiene standards.
• Good level of physical fitness.
