About the Role
The JBS Pork Division is currently recruiting for a Construction Project Manager to join our team in Melbourne, VIC, on a permanent full-time basis. Reporting to the Capital Projects Manager - Processing Operations, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive site administration and projects supervision.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Project Coordination: Ensure timely support for projects by developing and maintaining equipment and materials ordering schedules. Track and coordinate the delivery of materials and equipment to prevent delays.
- Document Management: Oversee all project documentation, including correspondence, drawings, and contracts. Implement effective document control systems for easy access and retrieval of information.
- Project Tracking: Coordinate project tracking activities such as scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and distributing meeting minutes.
- Reporting: Prepare and distribute various project reports, including progress, financial, and compliance reports. Analyse project data to identify trends and potential issues.
- Tendering: Support the tendering process by preparing tender documents, coordinating with subcontractors, and assisting in tender evaluations.
- Financial Management: Prepare financial reports and forecasts and analyse and compare quotes.
- General site administration and supervision.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Relevant qualifications or experience in project management or a related field.
- Previous experience in the construction industry is desirable.
- Proven understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Proven negotiation Skills.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Effective time management skills.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
