Cold Chain Manager

JBS Australia’s Southern Division, headquartered in Melbourne, has the largest multi-species processing facility in Australia, processing beef, sheep, and goats. JBS Southern processing facilities have access to all major international markets, providing our livestock suppliers with a range of markets and brand opportunities.

We are currently seeking a fulltime Cold Chain PM Manager based at our Brooklyn Plant for busy warehouse and export loadout operation.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Organise workforce to achieve optimum productivity and efficiency on a day-to-day basis.
• Develop team morale and enforce individual accountability for tasks undertaken. 
• Maintain strict guidelines on security, safety, and hygiene at all times.
• Is pro-active in implementing ideas and strategies to improve performance of employees, procedures, and Cold Store operation

About You:

• Operational acumen and costing management knowledge
• Demonstrated ability to provide situational leadership
• Identifies basic cause and effect relationships
• Knowledge of Warehouse and export KPI’s and how-to mentor/motivate and manage team to achieve goals
• Experience in a similar role within warehouse / Cold store operation
• Strong attention to detail and focuses on delivering tasks to a timeline
• Inventory management experience / knowledge and experience with WMS or other warehouse systems required.
• Effective communicator and have ability to develop relationships within team and other departments.
• Is focused on improving the operation rather than just coordinating the shift.
