About the role
An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated Learning & Development Officer to join our dynamic team based at our Longford Plant. This position will be paid as per the Longford Enterprise Agreement, working 38 hours per week and overtime as required.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Ensure the availability of a suitably skilled workforce through task-specific, site-based training and upskilling programs.
- Identify improvements to assist team member capabilities with expanded training support.
- Participate in FSQA, HR, WHS and other Regulatory Audits as required.
- 80% of the position will require on-the-floor training and 20% administrative training.
- Provide one-on-one tuition and regular checks on new Team Members in processing roles.
- Coordinate to ensure comprehensive and accurate training records are maintained utilizing a Learning Management System (LMS).
Criteria for selection include (but are not limited to):
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of personnel within a multicultural workforce.
- Proven computer literacy, especially MS Office
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or food processing environment is desirable.
- Positive, solution-focused approach to problems and challenges as they arise.
- Motivated, enthusiastic, and willing to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training would be advantageous
