JBS Riverina is currently recruiting Skilled Meat Workers and General Labourers to join our Processing team on a full-time basis. • Full-time opportunities available
• Day Shift – Approx. 6am to 2.30pm (5 days per week, 8-hour shifts)
• Day Shift – Approx. 6am to 4.30pm (4 days per week, 10-hour shifts)
• Afternoon Shift – Approx. 3pm to 11.30pm (5 days per week, 8-hour shifts)
• Competitive hourly rates commencing from $26.57 per hour, plus 10% Daily Hire penalty + other applicable penalties and shift allowances

About You

• Previous experience in meat processing, food manufacturing, production, labouring or a similar environment is highly regarded
• Skilled Meat Workers will ideally have experience in Boning, Slicing, Slaughtering or Sawing duties
• Relevant meat processing qualifications are advantageous but not essential
• Strong commitment to workplace safety, quality and productivity
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
• Reliable, motivated, and willing to learn and develop new skills
• Ability to follow procedures and work in a fast-paced production environment

JBS Australia is the largest and most respected meat and food producer in Australia. Situated on 2,000ha, the JBS Riverina Plant is a part of the Riverina integrated farming, feedlot and processing operation. The cattle are walked from the feedlot to the plant, minimising stress and transportation costs, while simultaneously improving eating quality – one of only two in the southern hemisphere.

Based just outside Yanco, between the popular townships of Leeton and Narrandera in the heart of the Murrumbidgee Irrigation district (or Riverina region), our location ensures the ability to source high quality feeder cattle and grain to produce premium beef. The plant employs approximately 500 team members with a processing capacity of 600 head of cattle per day.
