Shipping & Production Clerk

About the role:

The Riverina Plant is a 5 day operation which employs approximately 500 people. Located 75km south-east of Griffith, in the heart of the Murrumbidgee irrigation district, our Riverina processing plant is an integrated grain fed facility.  JBS Riverina Beef plant has current processing capacity of 600 head of beef per day, and is fed purely by the adjoining feedlot that has a carrying capacity of 53,333 head.

An exciting opportunity for a Shipping/Production Clerk currently exists at our Riverina Plant. This is a Permanent/ Full time.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of documents associated with production control.
• Data entry and reporting.
• Stock analysis and control.
• Generation of shipping instructions and maintaining the shipping schedule.
• Logistics.
• Production control related duties including but not limited to label control and on hold procedures.
• Timely and accurate record keeping.
• Assisting the Inventory Controller as required.

• High Level of attention to detail
• Accurate and efficient data entry and clerical skills.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to multi task.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as part as a team.
• Demonstrated computer literacy including Microsoft Word, Excel and Email
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Previous experience in a shipping or logistics and production control role would be advantageous
