Mill Hand - Riverina Feedlot (7-on / 7-off Roster)

About the Role

The JBS Riverina Feedlot is seeking a full-time Mill Hand to join our team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the efficient production of quality cattle rations, operating feed mill equipment, processing and mixing feed ingredients and supporting the day-to-day running of the feed mill. Working closely with the broader feedlot team, you will help ensure livestock receive consistent, high-quality nutrition while maintaining a strong focus on safety, equipment reliability and operational efficiency.

• 7-on / 7-off roster
• Tuesday to Monday
• 6am to 5.30pm
• $32 per hour + opportunity for overtime on days off

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Experience in agriculture, feedlots, grain handling, manufacturing or a similar operational environment
• A strong work ethic and positive, hands-on attitude
• Sound mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate equipment safely
• A commitment to safety, quality and attention to detail
• Ability to follow processes accurately
• Strong teamwork skills, while also being comfortable working independently
• Reliability, punctuality and a willingness to learn
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and varying weather conditions
• A current driver's licence (essential)
• Experience operating loaders, telehandlers or other mobile plant (highly regarded)
• Basic computer literacy skills
