• Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to ensure optimal performance
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical malfunctions in production equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and enhance system reliability
• Assist in the installation of new electrical equipment and systems as needed
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities
• Collaborate with production teams to address electrical concerns swiftly and efficiently
• Stay updated on safety standards and best practices in electrical maintenance

About You

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician, preferably in the food production industry
• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and circuit design
• Familiarity with local electrical codes and safety regulations
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members

About Us

Situated on 2,000ha, the JBS Riverina Plant is a part of the Riverina integrated farming, feedlot and processing operation. The cattle are walked from the feedlot to the plant, minimizing stress and transportation costs, while simultaneously improving eating quality – one of only two in the southern hemisphere.

Based just outside Yanco, between the popular townships of Leeton and Narrandera in the heart of the Murrumbidgee Irrigation district (or Riverina region), our location ensures the ability to source high quality feeder cattle and grain to produce premium beef. The plant employs approximately 420 team members with a processing capacity of 600 head of cattle per day, operating 5 days per week.
