Electrical and Mechanical MA Planner

About the role:

An exciting opportunity exists for a Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance Planner at our Riverina Beef Processing Facility in New South Wales. The successful applicant for this position will have the ability to facilitate maintenance to ensure production requirements are met. The position will require an enthusiastic and driven individual with a hands on approach and a solutions driven outlook utilising sound maintenance principles. To be successful in this position major functions will include:

Responsibilities:

• Co-ordinate and control all ongoing maintenance and capital works planning
• Plan, schedule and co-ordinate all shut downs
• Ensure all requested and scheduled tasks are investigated, planned, executed and completed on time and budget.
• Preparation and ordering necessary spare parts and materials for planned tasks
• Monitor spare parts holdings and availability of critical spares
• Schedule and track maintenance policy work orders
• Initiate plant wide mechanical and electrical installation compliance and testing
• Ensure all schematics are retained, updated and maintained as required
• Provide information for reporting on maintenance management
• Ability to communicate across all levels
• Produce actions to fix root cause and prevent failures from reoccurring.

Criteria:

• Advanced electrical or mechanical trade and post-trade qualifications or a degree/diploma in mechanical or electrical engineering is preferred
• Responsible for planning all maintenance activities on plant.
• Increase accuracy and detail of job orders.
• Proven preventative planning experience.
• Technical understanding to streamline the operation.
• Provide maintenance strategies for optimum performance.
• Thorough understanding of maintenance work management practices
• Proven ability to lead, manage and motivate employees
• Knowledge of work planning and scheduling procedures
• Sound knowledge and experience with electronic materials management systems (SAP
