Beef Fabrication Room Foreperson

About the Role:

An exciting opportunity currently exists for a Fabrication Room Foreperson at our Longford Plant.

This position will provide leadership, coordination, management and support to our Fabrication Room and ensure the attainment of production, quality / MSQA, Workplace Health and Safety and Human Resources requirements and objectives are met.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• Supervise, direct, co-ordinate and monitor Fabrication room operations;
• Revenue maximisation and cost control;
• Timely and accurate record keeping and information/paperwork flow;
• Participation in workplace projects as required;
• Other tasks relating to production as requested by your supervisor.

About you:

• Previous experience in similar role desired, but not necessary
• Demonstrated commitment to meeting all requirements in relation to food safety, people safety and maintenance and enhancement of brand integrity.
• Sound technical knowledge of meat processing
• The capability to build relationships and motivate a diverse team,
• Organisational and planning skills,
• Ability to maintain an appropriate skill mix to order to maximise productivity,
