The JBS Dinmore Processing Plant is the largest beef facility in the southern hemisphere. About the Role

JBS Dinmore is currently recruiting an experienced QA Officer to join the team in a full-time capacity. Reporting to the QA Manager, the QA Officer will play an integral role in monitoring, reporting, and rectifying issues within product, hygiene and food safety throughout the Plant and ensure the production of a quality product.

 

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure food safety and quality of products
  • Interaction with management, production and supervisory personnel to achieve the desired quality levels
  • Check product against specifications and food safety standards
  • Interact/liaise with AQIS and other regulatory bodies when and where necessary so that all established guidelines are met
  • Participate in internal and external audits
  • Monitor total hygiene practices in amenities, production areas, and render department on a daily basis

 

About You

  • Previous experience in a similar QA role within the meat industry preferred
  • Successful completion of the required AUS-Meat levels of competency and any other qualifications required by statutory authorities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic supervisory skills
  • Demonstrable problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of Workplace health and safety
  • Demonstrated computer literacy specifically within Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Exceptional ability to prioritise and multi-task
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously as well as within a team environment
