About the Role:

JBS Dinmore, the largest Beef processing facility in the Southern Hemisphere, are looking for our next Maintenance Planner. As a member of the Engineering Management team, you will plan and execute a wide variety of electrical, mechanical, and building services tasks. The scope of the role includes the Processing Plant and Hide Processing Plant, both located centrally at Dinmore. As an important part of the maintenance management team with crews working around the clock, the Maintenance Planner is integral to the success of our operation.


Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Planning corrective and preventative activities across the site through our asset management system, SAP.
  • Coordinating major planned repair programs on critical equipment and assets.
  • Providing preventative maintenance planning support, reactive planning programs and asset reliability activities.
  • Planning work, purchasing parts and equipment, and organising contractors.
  • Engineering improvements, raising Capital and R&M requests, project work
  • Ensuring people, parts and processes are available for maintenance activities in a timely manner.
  • Assisting in financial budget preparation, forecasting and maintenance strategies
  • Involvement in breakdowns and overhauls to provide support as required.


About you:

  • Electrical or Mechanical trade is desirable, but applicants with planning experience will be considered.
  • Strong interpersonal skills that enable you to establish relationships and communicate with ease at all levels
  • Knowledge/Experience with SAP or other maintenance/asset management systems
  • Dedication to environment, health and safety in the workplace
