JBS Australia’s Northern Division operates five strategically placed processing facilities across Queensland (QLD) and New South Wales (NSW):
- Beef City Plant, Toowoomba (South QLD)
- Dinmore Plant, Ipswich (South East QLD)
- Riverina Plant, Yanco (South Western NSW)
- Rockhampton Plant, Rockhampton (Central QLD)
- Townsville Plant, Townsville (North QLD)

About the Role
JBS Australia’s Northern Division is currently hiring Meat Processing Workers / General Labourers for various roles across our Plants. We welcome applications from all current Australian Visa holders (including backpackers and working holiday makers) and offer long term training, development and sponsorship opportunities for those looking to stay in Australia for an extended period of time.
Some of our available Plant positions may include:
- Skilled Meat Workers (Boning, Slicing or Slaughtering/Sawing)
- By-Products Labourers
- Packers & Slicers
- Cold Stores Labourers (including Forklift/High Reach Drivers)
- Cleaners
About You
- Ability to conduct physical work
- A desire to work within the meat industry
- Be comfortable working within a food production environment
- Be comfortable handling raw meat and animal bi-products
- Willingness to learn and perform labouring duties
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work in a repetitive and fast paced, manual handling and labour-intensive environment
- Willing to undergo a Q Fever vaccination
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Must have Australian working rights
To be considered for any of these roles, you will be required to undertake a physical medical assessment as well as drug and alcohol testing.
