Leading Hand

JBS Pork Australia is currently recruiting a Leading Hand to join the team on a full-time capacity. This position is responsible for undertaking a key role in the coordination of routine work activities and providing an effective leadership role. This position is based at our Contracting sites in VIC.

We are looking for someone who can show enthusiasm, energy, confidence and resilience as well as meet the following requirements needed to undertake this leadership role.

Skills & Experience:

• Certificate III in Agriculture (Pig Production) as a minimum.
• Strong understanding of pig farming practices gained through extensive practical experience.
• Sound understanding of WH&S and Quality Assurance principles within the Agricultural sector.
• Working knowledge of animal husbandry duties and requirements.
• High level communication skills, initiative and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to critically analyse situations and implement effective solutions.
• Ability to build strong working relationships, internally and externally.
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
• A current drivers licence.
• Advanced computer skills.
