About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and people-focused HR Officer to join our Farming & Stockfeeds team based at our Huntly site in Victoria.

Reporting to the HR Business Partner, you will play a key role in delivering effective HR support, partnering with leaders to drive employee engagement, workforce initiatives, recruitment, return-to-work programs, and day-to-day HR operations. This is a diverse, hands-on role that will suit a motivated HR professional looking to broaden their experience within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle processes across Farming & Stockfeeds.
• Partner with Site Managers to provide HR support, advice, and guidance on people-related matters.
• Support performance management, employee relations, workplace investigations, and engagement initiatives.
• Monitor HR metrics and workforce trends, contributing to continuous improvement activities.
• Coordinate injury management and return-to-work programs, including medical appointments and rehabilitation support.
• Maintain accurate HR records, ensure compliance requirements are met, and support the implementation of HR projects and initiatives.

About You

The ideal candidate will bring:

• A qualification in Human Resources or relevant experience in a similar HR role.
• Sound knowledge of HR practices, employment legislation, and workplace health and safety principles.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Advanced computer skills and a current driver's licence.
