JBS Australia’s Northern Division operates five strategically-placed processing facilities as well as five feedlots across Queensland and New South Wales, with access to an extensive network of quality cattle.  Our network provides the ability to meet the specific demands of various market segments with an extensive range of grain-fed and pasture-fed products.

About the Role:

Our Coldstore facility, located at Hemmant, receives product from various sites around Australia and processes a high volume of loads.  We currently have vacancies in our team for Coldstore Labourers. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, this is an excellent opportunity to join a Company that is leading the way in the meat industry.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• Contribute to a zero harm safety culture
• Ensure product integrity is maintained
• Checking & verification of paperwork.
• Order preparation
• Loading & unloading containers
• Sorting product
• Coldstore cleaning

About you:

• Ability to work individually and as part of a team in a fast paced environment
• Reliable and punctual
• Attention to detail & sound numerical skills
• Physically fit as manual labour is required
• Ability to work in cold temperatures for extended periods
• Ability to comply with company policies and procedures
• Flexibility with hours including availability to work overtime as required
