Maintenance Fitter

About the Role

The JBS Prime City Feedlot is currently recruiting for a highly motivated, experienced self-starter to join our dedicated team.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Conduct routine preventative maintenance programs
• Breakdown diagnosis and subsequent repairs to grain mill, grain receival, various heavy plant and general feedlot equipment and infrastructure
• General feedlot maintenance tasks as required, including routine parts ordering, stock control and stocktaking
• Updating of maintenance records and job sheets
• Maintaining compliance with JBS Australia policies, including but not limited to: WHS, HR, QA, Animal Welfare & Environmental obligations

About You

• Relevant trade qualifications and demonstrated suitable experience
• Maintenance experience with grain milling, grain handling and a variety of machinery and equipment
• Demonstrated ability to trouble shoot and problem solve
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to work well in a team environment and individually
• Accredited Confined Space and Working at Heights Certificates desirable (but not essential)
