Machinery & Loader Operator

Located 45km north-west of Griffith in southern New South Wales, JBS Australia’s Prime City Feedlot is a 35,000 head capacity feedlot and a major supplier to the JBS Riverina Beef processing facility at Yanco. Employing approximately 50 team members, Prime City Feedlot has a strong reputation for producing premium quality grain-fed beef.

The 6,225 ha of dryland and irrigation farm onsite at Prime City supplies the grain, silage and hay required for the cattle in the feedlot.

About the Role

The JBS Prime City Feedlot is currently recruiting for a highly motivated, experienced self-starter to join our dedicated and experienced team.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Operation of Front End Loaders, Tractors, Telehandlers & Rigid Trucks to conduct pen repairs and manure removal from feedlot pens
• Ensuring pen hygiene is maintained in accordance with QA requirements
• Completing daily pre-operational checks on machinery and assisting with maintaining machinery to the highest standards
• Maintaining compliance with JBS Australia policies, including but not limited to: WHS, HR, QA, Animal Welfare & Environmental obligations

About You

• Previous experience operating and maintaining front end loaders and machinery to a high standard
• Ability to multitask and ensure that equipment is maintained as required
• Basic computer literacy skills
• High attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to work well both independently and within a team environment
• Ability and willingness to learn new skills
