Located 45km north-west of Griffith in southern NSW, the JBS Prime City Feedlot is a 35,000 head capacity feedlot and a major supplier to the JBS Riverina Beef processing facility. Employing approximately 35 team members, Prime City Feedlot has a strong reputation for producing premium quality grain-fed beef. The 6,225 ha of dryland and irrigation farm onsite at Prime City supplies the grain, silage and hay required for the cattle in the feedlot.

About the Role

The JBS Prime City Feedlot is currently recruiting an experienced Machinery & Loader Operator to join the team in a full-time capacity. This role would best suit someone with strong hands‑on machinery experience in an agricultural or feedlot environment, who values routine, safety and high standards of animal welfare and hygiene.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Operating front-end loaders, tractors, telehandlers and rigid trucks to conduct repairs and manure removal from feedlot pens
• Ensuring pen hygiene is maintained in accordance with QA requirements
• Completing daily pre-operational checks on machinery and assisting with maintaining machinery to the highest standards
• Maintaining compliance with JBS Australia policies, including but not limited to: WHS, HR, QA, Animal Welfare & Environmental obligations

About You

• Previous experience operating and maintaining front end loaders and machinery to a high standard
• Ability to effectively multitask
• Basic computer literacy skills
• High attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to work well both independently as well as within a team environment
• Ability and willingness to learn new skills
