Diesel Mechanic

About the Role

The JBS Prime City Feedlot is currently recruiting for a highly motivated, experienced self-starter to join our dedicated team

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Daily, weekly and monthly scheduled maintenance activities
• Diagnosing, testing and review of mechanical faults on various feedlot plant, vehicles and equipment
• Repairs of faulty mechanical equipment including dismantling and engine assemblies
• Utilising equipment competently to perform maintenance and repairs
• Provide recommendations to ongoing improvement of equipment and machinery
• Maintaining compliance with JBS Australia policies, including but not limited to: WHS, HR, QA, Animal Welfare & Environmental obligations

About You

• Mechanical Trade Qualification and relevant previous experience is required
• Effective and efficient fault finding and diagnostic skills
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to work well in a team environment and individually
