Work schedule for 2024:

Morning shift Monday to Thursday from 5.00am - 3.00pm daily.

Afternoon shift Monday to Thursday from 3.00pm -1.00am daily. 

 

REMUNERATION

Entry level $25.80 base per hour plus a night shift allowance 

Level 2 Bone Room - $36.17 base per hour plus a shift allowance of 7.5% for afternoon shift

Level 2 Slaughter Floor $36.54 base per hour plus a shift allowance of 7.5% for afternoon shift

Level 1 Bone room (One Cut) $37.58 base per hour plus a shift allowance of 7.5% for afternoon shift

Level 1 Slaughter Floor $37.94 base per hour plus a shift allowance of 7.5% for afternoon shift

Level 1 Bone Room (Full Chain) $38.21 base per hour plus a shift allowance of 7.5% for afternoon shift

About You

  • Minimum 2 years demonstrated experience in Boning, Slicing or Slaughtering duties
  • Relevant qualification (Cert 2/3 Meat processing) advantageous but not essential
  • Knowledge and understanding of different rotations
  • Proven high level of knife sharpening skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of Quality Requirements
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Ability to partner with supervisors on improving daily duties
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug test
