About the Role

JBS Dinmore is seeking an experienced Senior Rehabilitation Coordinator to join our team in a full-time capacity. The Senior Rehab Coordinator is responsible for leading and managing workplace rehabilitation programs to support injured employees in achieving safe and sustainable return-to-work outcomes. This role ensures compliance with legislative requirements, drives best practice rehabilitation strategies, and provides expert guidance to stakeholders across the organization.

 

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee complex injury management cases, ensuring timely and effective rehabilitation plans
  • Coordinate medical assessments, treatment plans, and workplace adjustments
  • Provide guidance and support to Rehabilitation Coordinators and other team members
  • Deliver training and coaching on rehabilitation processes and legislative compliance
  • Liaise with employees, managers, healthcare providers, and insurers to facilitate collaborative return-to-work strategies
  • Act as a subject matter expert for rehabilitation and injury management queries
  • Ensure adherence to relevant legislation, codes of practice, and organizational policies
  • Prepare accurate reports and maintain documentation for audits and performance reviews
  • Identify opportunities to enhance rehabilitation programs and implement best practice initiatives
  • Monitor trends and provide recommendations to reduce workplace injuries and improve recovery outcomes

 

About You

  • Tertiary qualifications in Allied Health (e.g. Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Rehabilitation Counselling) or related discipline
  • Previous experience in a similar workplace rehabilitation or injury management role
  • Strong knowledge of workers’ compensation legislation and return-to-work frameworks
  • Proven ability to manage complex cases and deliver positive outcomes
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  • Leadership and mentoring capability
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High level of empathy and resilience
  • Ability to work autonomously and as well as in a team environment
